Earthwing gets it done, these boards can take a beating, and dont shy away from being big enough to bomb. 

We are super amped on our most recent shipment of Eartwhing Skateboards. This time, we focussed on getting boards with kick tails. Longboarding can only benefit from more exposure to tech sliding and big boards with kicktails. Don’t be afraid to ollie! But these just aren’t any boards with kicktails, Earthwing makes their decks stronger, with more concave, and fatter tails. And generally a wheelbase that doesn’t knock your knees together. Basically  everything that is missing from your conventional skateboard.

There is a large potion of kids learning 360 slides and complicated no-comply slide combos on soft wheels, which is most definitely rad, I’m glad to see people mix it up. But the boards are getting smaller, the wheels are getting smaller, and companies are adding progressively larger tails and rocker. What I’m saying is that soft wheel freeride is borrowing more from tech slide not only in its tricks, but in its general set up design. Its almost as though there is a unconcious urge to get on a large street deck with hardwheels and go sideways for days. SO ACCEPT IT! There should be a spot for a dope double kick with a decent wheelbase in everyones quiver.
