Flatpsot Longboards – G-Form Pads
G-form pads are sleek and comfortable unlike a lot of other skate protection. They also fit well under your clothes or leathers and are machine washable!
Quick Break down of why G-Forms are awesome:
- Impact protection technology
- Very comfortable fit and breathable material
- Sleek un-obstructive design
- Fit well underneath clothing or leathers
- Machine washable
What sets these pads apart from most is the impact protection technology? The padding has the ability to harden on impact. Normally pads G-Form pads are soft and pliable, but once you apply kenetic energy/impact they become rigid and absord a large portion of the impact. But hwo dies the pad do that? The best answer we have for that question is: SCIENCE!
Skeptical? So were we. Check out this video of a dude slap shot an iphone, and this other guy dropping a bowling ball on an ipad. Quite compelling. Aren’t convinced by smashing expensive technology? Everyone at Flatspot swears by these pads and you wont find us skating without them.
G-Form Sponsors a wide range of athletes, including some skaters you might be familiar with: Ross Druckery, Ethan Cochard, Ari Chamasmany.

How to use G-Forms for the best results:
G-form pads are exceptionally good at dealing with impact, but they are not designed to deal with high degrees of abrasion. If you are doing technical tricks, skating parks or bowls, or dancing, you are not going to be sliding on the pavement when you fall (at least not very much). Which is ideal for the soft padding of G-Forms.
If you are going to be skating fast down hills however, when you fall you are likely going to skid across the surface of the pavement leaving various pieces of skin and clothing behind. In this case we suggest that you wear a layer of denim (or anything really) over your G-Forms. This will help deal with the abrasion and ensure your pads last much longer.
