Chute Lake Disaster 2 Finals – Raw Run with Riley Harris
Riley Harris recorded the finals run at the Chute Lake Outlaw. This is a sweet raw run because its a fantastic example of drafting. Sometimes you don’t always want to be first all the time to win a heat, its all about catching that draft at just the right moment. Especially on such a fast course with wide open corners, the faster you go the larger and more accentuated your draft!
Riley Harris rides for Landyachtz Longboards, Bear Trucks and Hawgs Wheels
Bolzen Trucks Now Available at Flatspot!
This truck is a first time riders best friend because of its no-nonsense design that feels primed straight out of the box, giving your first setup the clean lean and turn that you have fantasized about when you dream of riding. No binding, clicking, or odd stopping points with these cast trucks, and that is thanks to the German engineered bushing interface, which allows the hangers to turn through their entire range of motion while still maintaining their lively feel and amazing return to center.
Free Rad trucker hat with Rad Feathers!
Now the carpet can match the drapes, with your skate that is. Buy a set of Rad Feathers or Jimmy Riha influence and get a free Rad Trucker Hat! The Rad Feathers are an amazing freeride wheel. With a supportive core and Rad’s epic urethane, these things are made for seriously smooth sideways action.
Aaron Hampshire Goes Fast on Rogues
Aaron Hampshire knows whats up. Long runs in the mountains, away from the noise, clutter, traffic, garbage and pollution of the city. Grab your closest homie, jam whatever car you can find/borrow with some boards and search out some hills! It will do you more good than a psychotherapist or a massage with a happy ending.
Subsonic Vega
Vega is subtle, simple and highly functional. Ride it, or don’t, but it’s probably better if you did. Subsonic is made on the coast by skaters. Not just dudes who are interested in skating, or ride to work, but dudes who genuinely shred burly hills. Bradley Cameron and Ryan Villa are both beasts, and they are two of the driving forces in the factory. Heres the breakdown: The Vega is a speed stiff rockered topmount with flushmounts and wheel wells. Basically everything you would want out of a go fast topmount board. The fact that its simple, subtle, and made by skaters.
Comet Upcycle
The Comet Upcycle Cruiser This is made entirely of scrap veneers left over at the Schmitt skate factory. With a little bit of time and ingenuity comet turned trash into something to thrash. Skating as a form of commuting is good. Its better than driving places. Skating for fun is good, its better than boosting around on motor boats or rallying big ass trucks. And now, you can have your low impact (environmentally that is) fun in an even more environmentally conscious way. The Comet Upcycle board is made entirely of scrap veneers that were destined to be nothing cool at all. Think about it, if you were a scrap of wood wouldn’t you want to be a skateboard?
Rad Train Rapid Grip Removal Technique
Alright kids – so don’t try this at home, basically don’t try it at all. But if you do, make sure its someone else’s home, cause it might burn down yours. This goes for most things Jimmy Riha does. Don’t do whatever he does, but if you must, do it in a place that isn’t yours or associated with you. If anyone asks you what your name is once you’ve done something like this, just tell them your Jimmy Riha. Another citation to the list is just a drop in the bucket. If anyone asks where you found out about this amazing technique, just say “the internet” and not “Flatspot told me to.” Cause we didn’t tell you too, we told you to pretend to be Jimmy Riha not doin bad stuff somewhere else. Got it? OK here’s the edit. Enjoy.
Once you burn your griptape you are likely gonna need to replace it!
