Riot Cups and Plugs just came in. These little pieces of urethane are the only fun things that eliminate play. 

Left: That is a riot plug. Since they are fitted to each hanger shape there are specific plugs for specific trucks. The purpose of this little urethane ring is to eliminate the play between the king pin and the hanger. Plugs serve the same purose as spherical bearings in precision truck hangers, or even the ronnin set pin, which is to keep your hanger turning on one central axis (the king pin). Long story short, they keep your shit straight, and they make for a dope ride.

Right: That is quite clearly an amazon with a k4 baseplate. But what you should focus on in the pivot cup. Its better than that black mushy one sitting beside it. Its better because its made of 95a urethane and actually has a bottom. Riot cups have taken up the painstaking task of replacing old and jank-tastic pivot cups with tight fitting urethane ones that last. The take home message here is that you only need to make a small change to have a huge difference.
