Team Rider: Maximillian Gradmiller
If you didn’t immediately recognize his leathers and helmet as Venom from spider man, your childhood is currently incomplete.
There are an innumerable amount of stories that begin with “I was partying with max after (insert race here) and then (insert crazy story here).” He plays like a professional, and that is likely what makes him such a rad skater. He races one of the smallest decks I have ever seen, and will happily switch it out for an old school deck with no concave and go just as hard. Its epic when you are skating down Britania and he passes you in a corner, sliding, on a flat old school pool board. Max doesn’t give a flying f*ck, and you can’t make him. And although the photo bellow may make him look rather intimidating, he is one of the most joyous and friendly guys in downhill skateboarding. Just don’t try and take his inside line.

Gnarliest Bail?
Back in the day before I had knee pads. Ripped around a corner to see traffic stopped. I was forced to slide at 70. Misjudged my angle and went up on the curb leaving my board behind, smoked the concrete base of a light pose almost smoked a jagged rusted plate, did the whole cartoon 360 spinn on the ground, shoe flew off, broke my foot and my knee and thigh were gnarled to shit.
Had a lot of close calls with death, being pushed into the oncoming lane with cars coming up because a UPS van didn’t look up the hill before ripping into the run. Just made it back in front of the van as the car ripped by, Mqueen and I were side by side on this one.
